April 1st Sold Out Brawlroom Action
A sellout crowd of more than 1,400 fight fans packed the ballroom in the Irvine Marriott for another Battle in the Ballroom. Fight fans in attendance saw 5 explosive boxing bouts and 2 MMA battles.
In our heavyweight fights of the night, Scott Alexander (5-0-1) went the distance with Marcus Dickerson (4-2-2) for a draw in our featured fight of the night. While Natu Visiana now (3-0) ko'd Netza Wilson (0-2) in the first round.
Hugo Centeno Jr now (3-0) 3ko's had a triumphant return to the Ballroom as Hugo took out Mario Evangelista (3-7) with an explosive body shot in the first round. Evangelista was unable to recover from the hit.
In what was the bloodiest MMA fight the Ballroom has seen in many years as Andy Morales (3-0) submitted Vince Parra (2-1) in the 3rd round.
Our lightweight fight of the night saw Jonathan Alcantara take on two time olympic alternate David Clark (1-1). After a flurry of punches Alcantara came out on top and is now (4-1-1).
Tyler Weathers (6-4) fought Anthony Figueroa (4-5-1) in our first MMA fight of the night and fight fans in attendance saw Weathers dominate Figueroa.
Our opening bout saw Mike Guy (2-0) 2ko's out of Bakersfield took on Joe Amouta (0-1) making his boxing professional debut. Dispite every effort Amouta didn't have what it take to stop Guy's undefeated streak.
