We know we’ve already had some heavyweight false alarms twice in 2010 when the Battle In The Ballroom announced some great heavyweight matchups but they did not take place…..but for the Thursday August 5^th show, bout contracts have been signed  and travel arrangements have been made, so we’ll have two quality heavyweight bouts on a solid seven, yes, seven bout card!!

The seven bout card will feature three six round bouts, with undefeated Joe “The Future” Hanks 13-0 (9ko) headlining the show after battling health issues the past two shows, and Hanks will finally face Louisiana Slugger Johnnie White. White brings a strong 22-2 record with 18 knockouts and has been eagerly anticipating this fight since the June 24^th cancellation.

The other heavyweight bout sees the Ballroom return of 5-0 Scott “The One” Alexander facing 3-2 Charles Tucker who has recorded all three of his wins by knockout. 

Fans attending the August 5^th Battle In The Ballroom will be treated to six pro boxing bouts and one pro MMA bout, a full night of fight excitement inside the Brawlroom.
